One hour photo processing is becoming more and more common to see. Some of the places that you will find it available are in your local pharmacies and drugstores. The ability to print out your digital photos in a one hour lab with the help of the internet is also becoming more common to be able to print your pictures at a lab from home. There are pharmacies that offer this on their website and here are a few of the pharmacies that do.

Walgreens

Walgreens offers you the ability to order prints online that can either be delivered to your home, or printed out at a local Walgreens that has a one hour photo. If you want to have your prints delivered to your home you can choose standard USPS, 2 days or overnight. The more prints that your order has will increase the cost of shipping, like the delivery speed you choose. Here are what the prices are to print your digital pictures out online with Walgreens.

4 x 6 (1+ prints): 19¢
5 x 7 (1 print): $1.59 (2+ prints): $1.00
8 x 10 (1 print): $2.99 (2+ prints) $2.50

Now the prices above do not include the cost of shipping if you choose the option to have them delivered to your house.

CVS

Another widely available drugstore that offers one hour photo services online is CVS Pharmacy, Consumer Value Stores. CVS Pharmacy also offers standard USPS, 2 day express and next day express for delivery options for shipping your prints to your home. Here are the prices of the prints from CVS Pharmacy.

4×6 Print (One Hour): $0.19 (1-2 Business Days): $0.10
5×7 Print: $1.49
8×10 Print: $3.99

Keep in mind that these prices do not include shipping and that orders that are received by 3:00 PM Saturday through Thursday are for 1-2 day service. Friday orders are 2-3 day serve and pickup times will vary by store.

Rite Aid

The drugstore Rite Aid is another pharmacy that offers a one hour photo service online but does not offer the option of shipping your digital prints to your home. Once your order is placed your prints will be ready at your local Rite Aid, with in the restrictions of the one hour photo center within the Rite Aid. 4 x 6 prints are 19¢ each.

Savon Drugs

Savon Drugs offers a standard delivery, about 3 to 5 days, option and an express delivery, 1 to 2 days, option if you would like your prints to be delivered to your home. There are three delivery speed options that Savor Drugs offers. The cheapest is 3 to 10 business days after processing, second cheapest 2 business days after processing and most costly 1 business day.

4 x 6: $0.15
5 x 7: $0.99
8 x 10: $3.99

These figures do not include the cost of shipping and since Savon Drugs uses a third party they can not guarantee that the prices will be exact for the orders that are 1 hour and picked up at your local Savon Drugs.

Depending on where you live and which of these pharmacies you use will play into which you decide to have your prints developed at.

First off let me apologize for the photo quality. I only had a few short minutes to spend the Streak and it happened to be in a dark room that looked like Batman decorated it. So the photos aren’t the best, but this is just a taste. We’ll have a proper set soon.

Anyway, I happened to have an EVO 4G with me and I must say that the Dell Streak makes it look like normal-sized phone. There is a large difference in the overall size even though the screen size is only .7-inches larger. It’s as thin as the Evo, but it still feels a bit too large to be a phone. However, that thought might be premature as it might be something you need to use to appreciate. The whole package feels solid, refined and wonderful. It’s clearly not for everyone given its large size, but a lot of people will probably love it.

Click through for photos.

Did you guys see this:
http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/yankees/poll_baseball_insiders_prefer_phil_H9u5FC2i4CTTdXX1pqBTbM

I found this pretty hard to believe, being that it was ‘baseball insiders’ and not fans. I mean, the reasons for preferring Hughes that they gave are reasonable, better secondary stuff, better K:BB, playoff experience, doing it in the AL East, and 2 years younger. However, Pelfrey already has two 30 start seasons with upwards of around 200 innings in each season. Hughes has yet to do that once, and there’s already talk of slowing him down, skipping some of his starts, to keep him ready for the playoffs without a huge innings jump. I’ll take the guy that’s the proven horse that’s shown he can go 200+ innings strong. I’m surprised that consideration didn’t give Pelf at least a few votes.

Miley Cyrus Photo Scandal, Perez Hilton In Hot Water (Miley Cyrus Pictures)

Perez Hilton may have pushed the “gossip” envelope a little bit too far this time with his controversial articles and his desire to be… well… controversial. Miley Cyrus is also very disappointed in the fact that not only did Perez Hilton post degrading photos of her, but also the timing of the photo is right when Miley Cyrus’ new album Can’t Be Tamed is about to hit the market. Miley Cyrus just wishes that the world could focus on the positive once and a while, instead of always focusing on the negative. Miley Cyrus was quoted as saying this in response to the Perez Hilton photos posted of her: “Isn’t it funny that things like that, that are so negative, have to come out right before my record?  It’s like no one can let positive things happen. All I do is focus on the positive, and I hope this record does well.” The photos themselves of Miley Cyrus, that were posted by Perez Hilton, may actually land Hilton in serious legal trouble. An attorney familiar with the matter is quoted as saying that the photos posted of Miley Cyrus go far beyond just a misdemeanor.

The Top Gadgets Announced at CES 2010

июня 11, 2010

{Volkstümliche Blusen

Technology always captivates consumers. Some of the best gadgets and technological advancements are introduced each year in the International CES in Vegas, really addressing new meaning in pioneer and intelligent devices.

The best gadgets announced at CES 2010, according to experts and consumer reviews, are the following:

a) Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid

Featuring fascinating notebooks with IdeaPad U1 Hybrid on the lead, Lenovo has really made a striking impression at this year's CES. Being the first PC in the industry that allows users to remove the screen and switch to a six-screen multitouch tablet that functions independently with its own processor and operating system, the IdeaPad U1 integrates Lenovo's Hybrid Switch technology allowing both PCs to function perfectly on the two processors effortlessly.

Featuring textured surface on the inside and a sleek, transparent dark red cover that cannot but capture the consumer's eye, the shiny round notebook comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon ARM processor in tablet mode, 11.6″ HD LED display, 4GB of memory RAM and 160GB storage capacity on the SSD running on Windows 7 Home Premium. When pulled out of its showcase, Lenovo switches to Skylight UI that functions as a detached tablet with an ARM processor running alongside Lenovo's customized Linux Skylight operating system.

The base, when detached, continues to work as its own Core 2 Duo SU41 opening up potential for the U1 to truly act as two devices in one. Both laptop and tablet modes support over 5 hours of 3G Web browsing and up to 60 hours of 3G standby. The tablet's edge-to-edge glass is comfortable and the chromed edges tempting, but some areas that need attention are the keyboard (too flat for Lenovo's standards), and perhaps ergonomics (notebook weight is 3.7 pounds, tablet weight is 1.6 pounds).

The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid is not expected to hit the market before June 1st, 2010, while its suggested retail price is $999.

b) Motorola Backflip smartphone

Scheduled for a global release at the Q1 2010, the Backflip comes with a 528-MHz Qualcomm MSM 7200A processor on Google Android 1.5 OS, 3.1″ touchscreen that natively supports 320 x 480 resolution, Wi-Fi, 3G and 5-megapixel camera. Besides, the device supports Moto Blur social-networking add-ons, Bluetooth and a 2GB memory card that can be expanded up to 32GB.

However, the best asset of the Backflip is its unique design. When it is closed, both the screen and the keyboard face out. The device can be flipped in a V-shape or totally flat to watch a movie or it can be used as a picture frame or alarm clock. When the device is open, it allows users to navigate on its touchscreen or use a trackball for navigation.

c) Sony HDR-XR550V camcorder

Featuring a 240GB HDD, 3.5″ LCD with 1920 x 1080 Full HD video recording, 12-megapixel still image capture with wide angle Sony G Lens with 10x optical zoom and Direct Copy feature, Sony HDR-XR550V camcorder is a unique camera that enable users to capture astonishingly smooth video from wide angle to full telephoto shooting.

Besides, the HDR-XR550V is a great device to experience low-light sensitivity with enhanced image clarity and considerably reduced grain due its revolutionary 'Exmor R' CMOS sensor. Designed exclusively for compact cameras and camcorders, the 'Exmor R' CMOS sensor is intended for shooting video in lower lighting conditions with superior results. Also, the Sony G Lens offers enhanced optical performance delivering bright, accurate color reproduction and sharp, astonishingly detailed images.

d) Panasonic VT25 Plasma HDTV

Panasonic announced the release of the new plasma VIERA VT25 Series that is expected to hit the market in the spring of 20102 and offers users the full HD 3D capability. The set will include one pair of 3D glasses for an unforgettable 3D experience and an active LC shutter system. What is even more impressive than offering the 3D glasses - at a time that no other manufacturer provides them - is that the left and the right lens of the glasses lightens and darkens successively and too quickly to be perceived, while the TV displays the corresponding left and right-eye-specific images at the same time. The result is Panasonic's 'Full HD 3D' content of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels for each eye.

Besides, the set features Skype video calling, Wi-Fi connection (optional), the option to add Pandora, Twitter, Netflix and Fox Sports to own content through VieraCast interactive suite and infinite Black Pro, among others.

Samsung is a real wild card in camcorders, folks–I’ve seen them do some really outlandish things in camcorders, both high and low.  Today I’m talking about a new outlandish Samsung, but this time, on the lower end.  It’s the Samsung HMX-H200BN/XAA, and it won’t make much sense at all.

The Samsung HMX-H200BN/XAA offers a 20x optical zoom with an augmenting 220x digital zoom, a 2.7 inch touch-screen display, optical image stabilization, night recording capability,  time lapse recording capability, a 4.7 megapixel still image capability, a USB port, editing software, and compatibility with Secure Digital memory products.

You can no doubt see where my confusion springs from–where is the onboard memory?  Why is that zoom so comparatively short compared to other camcorders?  And am I seriously being asked to pay four hundred dollars for a camcorder that actually does quite a bit less than any of a host of other models?

You heard that part right, too: four hundred bucks out at Best Buy for this thing.  It’s clearly a budget camcorder, but if it were a budget camcorder, then why on earth can I find better for less?  Am I just paying for the Samsung NAME here or what?

Anyway, despite the fact that the camera does work well, I can’t in any good conscience recommend the Samsung HMX-H200BN/XAA to anyone.  It just costs too much for what you get.

NP-N130-KA03AE Mini Laptop

by Delight111 - 6/7/10 1:01 AM

I bought a new Samsung Mini Laptop NP-N130-KA03AE on 21/5/2010. Very sad that, I had to it take to the service center on 26/5/2010, with no power.

On enquiry of the status, I came to know that the board is burned out, LCD and few cables etc are also damaged and require replacement. And they are waiting for parts.

I hardly used it 3 days, maybe one hour per day. My impression on Samsung is at stake.

Any help to resolve this will be appreciated.

In this video clip, you get is bit if an idea what the quality is like - it is quite acceptable, as long as you don't zoom in too much. Even though the camera features some basic image stabilization, when zoomed in all the way (65x), you'll get a ton of shake. For close-ups like this, you'll definitely want to invest in a tripod.

Audio is quite decent - it picks up a lot of weak noises, but sadly also a little bit of wind - still, I've seen much worse.

Photo quality is quite lousy - and only in 2 megapixels, so don't expect to replace your point and shoot any time soon. Even mobile phones usually make better shots than this.

Thanks to a small joystick you can quickly navigate through the menus - and inside the menus are a ton of features. You get scene selections, resolution settings and a neat time lapse recording option. The lineup of features is surprisingly impressive for such a budget camera.

Behind the display is a flap to protect the SD card slot, video out connector, USB port and charging port. You can charge the camera using the included wall charger, or over USB using your PC.

Final thoughts

With its weak photos and shaky zoom video, you'd expect a recommendation against this product - but it actually manages to rescue itself thanks to an insanely low price - you can find it online for as little as $159. The camera does not come with a memory card, so expect to invest an extra $20-$30 for an 8GB card. Battery life is rated at over 4 hours on a single charge.

The camera comes with a pretty decent software suite which assists with edits and one-click uploads to video sharing sites.

Now, this camera is obviously up against products like the Flip and Creative Vado HD camcorders - but none of those products offer an optical zoom lens. So, you need to decide whether you want to pay for an HD camcorder with limited features, or a full feature standard definition camera. Do keep in mind that in this price range, your camera will only work well outdoors - indoor shooting requires a camcorder with a much higher price tag.

Despite its shortcomings, $159 for a compact camera with these features is a tremendous deal, but you'll need to spend some time determining your needs. One more thing to help decide is what you plan to do with the video - HD video is nice, but it takes up a lot of space and editing can require a beefy computer. If you just want some basic quality stuff to show friends and family, a standard definition camera could be exactly what the doctor ordered.

Alysha Castonguay Topless Photos Ignite Controversy

июня 4, 2010

I made some Images in the last months - please tell me when you like them:

Frisbee nicht nur für Hunde by gerritana

You may love capturing the most beautiful scenes on camera, but what do you do with all those photos? Do they just sit there and take up space on your hard drive, or are they placed inside folders and picture albums? No matter where these photos are, get them all out, organize them, and turn your love for photography into cash; you deserve something. Besides, you should share those breath-taking photos with the world, and your talent should be rewarded.

Before I reveal how you can make money with your photo-taking abilities, I'm going to help get you organized. Organization should be the first step in photography, because knowing where to find what you need will make the whole process much easier.

Let's begin with all those photos you have scattered about: The images on your hard drive, in folders, in photo albums, in your digital camera and etc. Take all those photos and place them in one pile in front of you. Next, separate each photo into similar groups (family, nature, animals, places, etc.). Once you have all your photos separated in groups, place each photo in sheet protectors, and then put the sheet protectors into a binder. As you place each sheet protector — with the photos — in your binder, still keep the photos in related groups in the binder. To keep them in groups, buy lined paper and plastic tabs. Next, place a tab (with the group name) on each sheet of lined paper. Finally, place the lined paper with tab before that group of photos. Later, I'll tell you why you should use lined paper.

Now, set your binder aside and focus on organizing the photos you have stored in your hard drive and digital camera. To organize the photos on your hard drive and digital camera, burn them onto a CD-RW or CD-R using Nero 7. Following are step-by-step instructions you can follow to burn the photos onto CD using Nero 7. The instructions that follow are the way I burn my photos using Nero 7. If you use a different software program for burning CDs, then check your program's help manual for instructions.

1. Start Nero 7. Click “make data CD,” then open with Nero Burning Rom.

2. Drag and drop your picture files from the “my documents” folder (or whichever folder your pictures are stored in) to Nero Burning Rom. Hold down CTRL to select multiple files. To select all files in that folder, click edit, then select all.

3. After you have all the files you want to burn, click “burn” from the top of Nero Burning Rom.

4. Once you click “burn,” you will have to set the options to what you desire. (See glossary in the help menu for an explanation of each term.) Here's what I use for my settings: Under the multisession tab, I select start “multisession disc.” Under the ISO tab, I select mode 1 for “data mode”; ISO 9660 + Joliet for “file system”; Level 1 for “file name length (ISO)”; ISO 9660 for “character set (ISO).”

Under “relax restrictions,” I usually check the following: “allow path depth of more than 8 directories,” “allow more than 255 characters in path” and “allow more than 64 characters for Joliet names.”

For the label tab, I select “automatic,” and in the field for “disc name,” I enter a name for my disc (e.g., family photos, animal photos or etc.).

Under the dates tab, I select nothing for “volume creation,” but for “file dates,” I select “use the date and time from the original file.”

Under the misc tab, the only thing I check is “cache files from disk and network,” but if you don't want to cache your files, you can leave both tabs unchecked.

Finally, under the burn tab, for “action” I select “write,” and for “writing” the “write speed” I select is 48x, and for “write method” I select “Disc-at-once/96.” Next, I enter the number of copies I want to make, and then I check “BURN-Proof,” “use multiple recorders” and “do a virus check before burning.”

5. Hit burn and wait.

See, that wasn't so hard, was it. Now, since your photos are all organized, finding what you need to make money will be a much simpler task.

To turn your photos into cash you will begin by finding magazines, newspapers, businesses and etc. that will buy your photos. Yes, writers make up the content for these publications, but artists make up the covers and photos. Furthermore, to be honest, the greater part of these publications pays more for photos than they do for the written content. How do you find these markets for your photos? Begin with a few searches on Google. Search Google for keyword phrases such as we pay for photos, photo guidelines and sell your photos. When you enter the keyword phrases, place quotation marks around them to search for the exact phrase.

Aside from Googling search terms, another place to find a market for your photos is the current edition of “Writer's Market.” “Writer's Market” is not only for writers, but photographers can use this resource guide as well. The “Writer's Market” specifies if the publication accepts photos, and most of the time it will also state how much pay is given for each photo. Updated more frequently than the print edition is the online edition of “Writer's Market.” Therefore, in my opinion, I think the online edition is the best way to go. A yearly subscription to the online edition of “Writer's Market” is $29.99, a small price to pay for over 100 markets.

Remember when I said to put lined paper in your binder; this is where it comes in play. On the lined paper, you will write the name of each market you find that will take photos in that group. Not only will you write the name of the market, but you will also list their Web site URL, the submission information, how much they pay and the rights they purchase. For example, on the lined paper separating the animals group, write down all the information specified above on the markets that accept animal photos. Then, for the family group, write down all the information on the markets that accept family related photos and so on. Finally, when you're ready to submit your animal photos, using your tabs, you can flip to the animal group in your binder, choose the animal photos you think are best, and then submit those photos to the markets listed on the lined paper in this group.

There are many other ways to sell your photos but you must build a portfolio first, and the techniques mentioned above are the best way to get started. After you have established your portfolio, refer to my article on marketing your photos to discover the many other ways you can make money with your photos.Go ahead and start selling your photos using the system in this article today, and in no time your photo equipment should pay for itself!

Erykah Badu's Vibe Magazine cover feature has finally been revealed. The cover is a great look for Erykah. It's very artsy, as Miss Badu's head is painted with designs and she's standing in the nude only sporting a “Bady” ring. In the new issue of Vibe magazine, Erykah speaks on Jay Electronica, the controversy around her “Window Seat” video and sex in videos, and much more. Check out an excerpt below! (Props to Vibe)

On the Window Seat controversy:

“I look at some other videos. i’m not naming names, because I don’t want that to be mentioned. There is the thing with sexuality. I’m naked for 13 seconds, and these people are naked the whole time and gyrating and saying come “lick on my lollipop,” and “suck on my cinnamon roll,” and, you know, suggesting sex. People are uncomfortable with sexuality that’s not for male consumption. could be ‘cause I did it in public too. Do you think people would have been complaining if I had on high-heel shoes?”

Fussball/ GES/ Neues Trikot der Nationalmannschaft, 10.11.2009 by adifansnet

    WM 2010 Trikots bestellen

One of the most controversial decisions relating to 2010 FIFA Cup (June 11 - July 11 in South Africa) is relating to its implementation of goal-line technology. Critics are calling this the dumbest decision in soccer refereeing technology, as it would have allowed a goal to accurately be determined as a goal instantaneously by computerized chips. Proponents of the rule hail this decision as instrumental in keeping soccer a human-oriented sport not focused or inclusive of any type of technology. Nonetheless, 90% of voters in a FIFPro poll stated that they would like to see the implementation of accurate goal-line technology in soccer.

The very few supporters of this ruling (1 in 10 soccer fans, as well as FIFA executives) favor pure human interaction in the game with absolutely no technological interference whatsoever. This would be a great platform to stand on, by declaring that sports should be human-only. However, what proponents do not realize is that this technology does not intrude on the game at all. A device is placed on the goal, which would then give the answer of whether or not the goal was made. Put simply: there is no intrusion, simply answers.

So, why is FIFA denying instrumental technology? The answer is fear. The FIFA executives are afraid that technology is going to take over everything, even soccer. They are afraid things are going to end up like Terminator: first it starts with the goal-line, and next thing you know the robots are going to take over the world and not let us play soccer! What was going through their heads?

What FIFA also fails to realize is that everything being used in soccer is technology. The soccer ball being kicked is a piece of technology. The goal being kicked into, was once thought of and invented as a piece of technology. The white chalk used to define the goal-box is technology. Anything made by humans is technology. So why are they allowed? Because they aid in a better, more fair and fun game. Hence, goal-line technology will soon be implemented in other leagues, whether or not the dull witted FIFA committee will sooner or later.

Fans understand that there is no intrusion in the game, yet the people like FIFA General Secretary Jerome Valcke saying “Technology should not enter the game. We should trust and keep football as a human game” does not help the sport idealize. Instead, what we have is a fear to accept new and better ideas. The world changes, life changes, the universe changes, and soccer is no exception.

    Euer Stream219

5 Ridiculously Expensive Apple Gadgets You Won't Believe Are Real

Forgive the language in the headline, but there is no nicer way of stating how much better Zoho Notebook is than its counterpart, Google Notebook.

First let, me say I have no personal vendetta or issue with Google. I love Google and use many of its products, including Google Docs, Gmail, Google Search, and Google Maps.

But Zoho? Floors me. With each new application, their free web applications just keeps getting better. Even their free applications are in Beta, which Zoho Notebook is, the applications are still useful and fun to use. And free.

    What is Zoho Notebook?

It is another cool and free web application from the Zoho Office Suite. With the Web 2.0 application, the web user can make their own notebook that combines all of your favorite media into one handy reference: audio, parts of spreadsheets, drawings, images, and of course, like any good notebook, text.
Oh yeah, it beats the crap out of Google Notebook.

Why Use One of these Applications?

There are a couple of reasons to use one of these free Web 2.0 applications. It is easy to upload, sort, manage and search web data into one small area. It's also easy to share data in this way.

    Zoho and Google: The Similarities

How else are these two Web 2.0 applications similar? Aside from their no-frills names, that is.

    1. Both are free.

    2. Both applications are trying to compete with Microsoft's OneNote, a project management application with a retail price tag of $99.95. I could not test OneNote because there is no Mac version. OneNote is not web-based, and is better for business applications which require more security.

    3. Both free web 2.0 applications work with PCs and Apple computers.

    4. Both applications are web-based and accessible from any computer with Internet access.

5 Ways Zoho Notebook Beats the Crap Out of Google Notebook

    1. It's is so Pretty

In this case, you can judge a web application by its interface. Zoho Notebook is the cool, sunglasses-wearing red carpet celebrity, and Google Notebook is the practical behind-the scenes reporter.

I have included a screenshot of each for comparison. Judge for yourself, which free Web 2.0 application would your rather look at? Which would you rather use?

    2. It's Better for More Than Text

Let's face it, if we wanted our Internet to come with just text, it would not have evolved from its original text-only state to the image-heavy online world we know today.

With Zoho users can add both audio and video, not true in Google.

If you really just need to use text, Google Notebook does offer a few advantages: it is faster, it autosaves more often. and there are more text formatting options.

    3. It's More Fun

I was quite bored using the Google product, which actually could make it better for Getting Things Done. It was fun to aggregate some content in the Zoho Notebook.

    4. It's More Intuitive

This is a completely personal opinion, since what is intuitive to me may not be intuitive to someone else.

    5. It's no Glorified Yahoo! Notepad

The simplicity, or restraints of Google remind me of Yahoo! Notepad. Good for jotting text notes, not so good for multimedia.

    Use The Applications for Free

The only way to really test which application is better for you is to try them both out for yourself.

    Try them yourself:

    Google Notebook

    Zoho Notebook

In all honesty, I guess I overstated the headline. Zoho doesn't really beat the crap out of Google. It is just further ahead in the race. Plus, I like it better.

Disclaimer: Zoho is in beta, so expect some bugs and glitches.

    Kinsers Weblog

As we wrote in he previous post, between the 5th and the 21st of May 2010 energies around were quite electric and peculiar. During the events that unfolded and while it would have been really comfortable to have the Notebook (10″ HP Notebook) in perfect conditions to allow to be mobile in  the 4 storey townhouse , the little IT gadget actually decided otherwise. We were then stuck upstairs with the Desktop. Le it go, Let i go

A few attempts to make the gadget connect to the wireless network were just failing one after another. It could read and reach most of the neighbour's networks but not its own!. After a few attempts of switching on and off all the devices involved, we decided to put the notebook in the Healing Reiki Cupboard for 24 hours, switch off the Wireless connection and wait. Let the healing take place with no more outsiders interventions. Upon retrieving the notebook from the cupboard, switching in on and connecting to the wireless, a beam of light passed through in between the two of us; the healing had taken place and both gadgets (our writing skills and the keboard) were re-united. In addition to be in  perfect connecting conditions, it also is now functioning better!.

The shor story may sound basic it actually contains a few good principles of healing: intention, let it happen, appreciate it, detach and feel gratitude!

    Love and light!

NVIDIA announced today the existence of the GeForce GTX 480M, their soon-to-be-released flagship notebook GPU. The GTX 480M is the company’s first mobile DirectX 11 part, and is based on the Fermi architecture found in the desktop 400-series parts.

“First, this is DirectX 11 done right for notebooks. Tessellation is the most important new feature for the DirectX 11 API, and the GeForce GTX 480M is a true tessellation monster for the notebook platform. It offers a dedicated Tessellation engine for up to 5x more performance than any other GPU.

Second, with the power of the GeForce GTX 480M GPUs, notebook manufacturers can set new records for notebook performance. Put simply: If a notebook maker wants to build the fastest possible system on the planet, they will start with GeForce GTX 480M as its foundation.

Third, we’ve now brought the vaunted Fermi architecture to notebooks. GeForce GTX 480M delivers nearly three times more NVIDIA CUDA cores over previous generation Notebook GPUs, which means users get unbelievably fast video transcoding, upscaling from standard definition to high definition and real-time movie clean-up with the click of a button.

And finally, the GeForce GTX 480M not only delivers the world’s best gaming frame rates, it also gives added features that no other GPU offers, including NVIDIA 3D Vision technology for an immersive gaming experience, NVIDIA PhysX technology that brings games to life with dynamic, interactive environments and NVIDIA Verde Notebook Drivers for the most up-to-date performance from your notebook.”

For those interested, specs are as follows:

    • 352 CUDA Cores
    • 425 MHz Core clock
    • 850 MHz Shader clock
    • 1200 MHz GDDR5 Memory clock
    • 256 bit Memory bus
    • Memory Bandwidth: 76.8 GB/sec
    • 897 CUDA GFLOP/sec
    • Texture Fill rate: 18.7 billion/sec

Of course, for those not content with the potential horsepower a single GTX 480M provides, 2-way SLI configurations are expected as well.

The first system built around the new mobile Fermi GPU will be from Clevo. A firm release date has not been announced, but is expected sometime this summer, with other manufacturers expected to release models soon after.

    The Icrontic Viewpoint

    Brian Ambrozy

This is like a Lamborghini. Sure, there’s someone out there who drives one, but he’s not you. He has tons of disposable income and doesn’t give two shits about practicality. Big, hot, heavy, and loud. Doesn’t matter. It’s the fastest.

    Nick Mertes

My biggest concern is what kind of notebook will be required to house this GPU. I’m looking forward to a direct performance contest between the GTX 480M and a Mobility Radeon 5870. As a gaming laptop user, I’m really hoping they have the power, noise, and heat under control. I’m not opposed to a large laptop (my current one is an Asus G73JH-A2), so a 17″ display with a PSU that doubles as an effective bludgeoning weapon doesn’t bother me. But I do care whether I’m going to go deaf and/or suffer third degree burns while playing TF2.

    Robert Hallock

I have no doubt that the 480M will be a top-flight performer, but I’m not really sure who said this couldn’t be done. NVIDIA has trimmed Fermi to suit DTRs, the one class of notebooks designed to run hot’n'heavy. They might raise a few brows by competitively driving the architecture down through smaller segments, but NVIDIA hasn’t bushwhacked a soul today.

Sophia Loren, the famous Italian film star, is vocally giving support for here favorite soccer team. She has stated that if the Naples team moves up further in the ranks for the Italian championship, she will do a public strip tease.

The Naples team has been struggling for the last twenty years since it won its first Italian championship. Many of the Maples fans have been praying for a comeback from their favorite team ever since.

The Napoli, the term for the team from Naples, have been considered an underdog since the beginning of the season. Every win so far has added more exuberating to their fans this year.

Currently, Naples is in third place in the second division in the running for the Italian Championship. They have five more games left to progress themselves into the top two positions in the division. If they acquire one of the top two positions, they will make their way into the playoffs.

Sophia Loren has publicly stated that she will strip if the Naples team makes it to the playoffs. She thinks that it is a great way to get fans behind the team. She also believes that this is a great incentive for the Naples team to win.

Mind you that Sophia Loren is 72 years old. While she still has a phenomenal figure for someone her age, she is still 72 years old. Some fans may consider this to be an incentive for their team to win. Some other fans may be considering that this is a reason for the Naples team to lose.

There has not been official word from the Naples team as to their support of this suggested incentive from Sophia Loren. There has also not been any word against it either from the team.

There has not been any more word from Sophia Loren as to where she will perform her strip tease if the team wins. While this may be considered against the law in Italy, many laws are allowed to be broken during a soccer match, or in the aftermath.

With the amount of protests that have come from the current Pope and the Vatican about the state of affairs in Italy, it will not be a surprise to many if there is a comment against the suggested strip tease. It will be interesting to see how far the Vatican goes to condemn the possible actions of one of Italy's favorite daughters.

Averatec 12.1″ 2371 PC Laptop Review

    мая 21, 2010

    In My Bag by michaeljosh

    KyoceraLaser Drucker billig Online Shop

Buying a cheap laptop computer is similar to buying a used car, so many options, and so many concerns. Will it perform as needed, and is it dependable? eBay, computer wholesalers, and classified ads all host cheap laptops for sale. Occasionally manufacturers offer excellent deals. While these cheap laptop deals are nice for the budget shopper, it is easy to end up a model you'll regret purchasing.

Model numbers alone of cheap laptops are overwhelming. Whereas Brand X 3275 is a screaming machine, model 3257 deserves early retirement. Reading laptop reviews helps considerably, but unfortunately, many cheap laptop models escape computer industry interest.

Do not despair if you do not understand the details behind technical components. Just as one can buy a car without knowing how an engine works, the same is true of laptop computers. Understanding the basics allows you to compare cheap laptops and obtain a good deal. Further, a seller is less likely to mislead you if you present him with technical questions.

What to Consider When Buying a Cheap Laptop Computer

Budget: Determine how much money you can spend on a cheap laptop. Smaller budgets reduce choice, so if you find that a cheap laptop doesn't meet your needs, strongly consider postponing your purchase. Computer prices decline monthly.

Usage: Make a list of intended use (e-mail, games, etc.), and software you plan to use. Will the laptop be your primary or only computer? If so, you will need more power and features and perhaps a larger screen. If a cheap laptop supplements a desktop system, a lower-end system may work.

Operating System: For best results with current programs, Window's XP is the best. Cheap laptops, used or refurbished, may contain Window's 2000, even Windows 98. As such, be wary that some programs may not work. Some cheap laptops, and most new ones, include the new Window's Vista, instead. This is the latest release and requires more computer memory (1MB plus RAM) to run well.

Speed/Processor: Modern lower-end processors work well, so you can save money on a cheap laptop computer and have plenty of power for average usage. Two popular computer processor manufactures include:

    · Intel: Celeron is the lower end of modern technology and yet works well for budget users. For performance, look for Celeron M model 400 or above. On a cheap laptop you may find Pentium 4, also good. Shy away from Pentium III technology unless you plan to limit laptop use.

    · AMD: Sempron is a good mid-range processor, affordable, and the latest models offer high speeds. Cheap laptops may be equipped with an Athlon or Athlon XP, also good. Duron was discontinued in 2004, but may be seen in used laptops.

RAM: Window's XP requires at least 512 K RAM (Computer memory) to run efficiently. For cheap laptops with less RAM, inquire about an inexpensive upgrade from the seller. Find a cheap laptop that _can_ be upgraded to at least one MB of RAM. If so, it is a laptop with newer technology.

CD/DVD: CD-ROM access is essential for installing programs, and a CD/DVD combo preferred if you care to use DVD's. If the laptop lacks one, consider an inexpensive external R/W drive. It requires no physical installation; just plug it into a USB port.

Graphics Card/Accelerator: Cheap laptops typically have a built-in graphic's chip. A built-in chip cannot be upgraded and it shares memory (RAM) with the computer. For best compatibility, get a card that supports at least 64MB of memory.

Wireless Card: Ensure the laptop has a wireless card, not just supports one, if you plan to be mobile with your laptop. Otherwise, add a wireless card and installation fees to your cost. Additionally, look for 802.11 wireless support.

Ethernet: An Ethernet card allows you to access the Internet on a high-speed physical line, such as DSL.

Display: Some cheap laptops seem to have it all but possess a small 12-inch screen. Know what you are getting. In addition, some displays are historically poor in certain conditions, such as outdoors. If unsure, research reviews by the laptop's model number.

Weight: It is a matter of preference, and lighter notebooks tend to cost more, or offer less. Mobile users that want a desktop replacement equivalent should aim in the 6lb range for comfort.

Hard drive: Cheap laptops often have small hard drives, particularly those sold on auction sites. Look for 40 GB or more. Otherwise, the cheap laptop will be painfully slow in a short time and provides limited storage space.

The history of soccer can be traced back to almost every country of origin. The game was so accessible that men of every status could afford to play. It's easy to imagine that games of kicking a ball or something that resembles a ball have been around for thousands of years. The ancient Romans and Chinese are credited with the very first signs of soccer. China used to play games similar to football as far back as three thousand years ago and the Romans used to keep there warriors fit with football. A number of other countries laid claim to the sport as well including Japan, England, Italy and South and Central America.

Credit with the formal development of soccer history is rightfully given to England. They were the first to start incorporating rules and form associations or leagues. Around 1863 they began to separate soccer from rugby and formed the first Football Association. Teams from around the London area came together and began to formulate the basic rules that were agreeable by everyone. These included the size of the field, number of players and rules regarding contact. Ironically it wasn't until six years later that the hand ball or no carrying of the ball was included.

The sport blossomed throughout England and held its first championship after just eight years. As expected the sport traveled throughout Europe and international competitions between England and Scotland formed. The sport brought in spectators and produced athletic stars which pushed the organizations to formalize their practices. New associations began to pop up throughout Scotland, Ireland and Germany.

The largest of all international associations was formed in 1912, Federation Internationale de Football Association, FIFA. Fifa held the now famous World Cup in 1930 and has grown to over 200 members throughout the entire world. Now there are tons of amateur, semi professional and professional leagues all over the world. Whether it's young kids, professional athletes or weekend warriors soccer can be found anywhere in the world

Soccer history has evolved to today's standard where it is played at the amateur and professional level all over the world. It is recognized as the most played and watched sport in the world. The basic rules and limited amount of equipment make soccer an easy sport to participate in for all.
