I wanted to buy a compute laptop as I travel a lot and I need computer access during the time when I am not at home. I start searching the best laptop that can fulfil my need. I wanted a laptop with latest technologies but light weight to carry easily with me every where I asked my friends and other family member for advice but I get two recommendations from different people and these famous brands are well known which are Sony and Dell. I got confused which brand would be better and suitable for my needs as both of them are reliable and both can be trusted with the eyes close.
I went on line and compared both the brand my self and found that Sony are best in laptops when compared in laptops and Dell are best in desktop computers .Sony has better and advanced technologies when compared to Dell in laptop computers. so was the prices Sony prices are higher than Dell .
I discover the laptop technology of Sony was out of the world. There was no other laptop near that technology not even Dell can compete the Sony now .Sony have integrated web camera in the laptop, so need to attach out side camera ,saving lots of hassle and Dell laptops lacks this attractive and handy features in them. Built in Sony speakers in all the laptops Dell have this but the sound quality is not like Sony .Sony laptops are light weight in comparison to Dell . different sizes ,sleek .Attractive colours and very thin .Light weight to take it with us ,ideal for while travelling .Integrated blue tooth for mobile technology in both the laptops to generate powerful signals. Windows vista home premium additions already there in Sony Laptops but Dell have windows vita home addition only in some laptops and if want to upgrade version we have to pay extra for that. In Dell laptops we still find windows XP and Sony has already upgraded to windows vista .Adobe photo shop soft ware is also provided to edit and play with photos in Sony and no such software or similar is provided if we want any we have to pay extra to Dell.
But good thing is Dell are still better than other brands and above all they are less expensive than Sony and also Dell give good offers from time to time .Like money off , free products (leather case),free memory upgrade and even free delivery some time. But if one want best technology ,technology wise Sony laptops are the best ones. Their integrated hard ware machinery is Sony quality and machinery wise Sony are still leading the world. There is nice finishing touch in Sony laptops as compared to Dell ones.
Then I decided and bought a Sony laptop computer with all the above features like integrated camera, built in blue tooth, built in speakers ,windows vista home premium edition. It was delivered with in a week time and I found it excellent .Advance technology means Sony I know today. I love chatting with my family member abroad thanks to Sony web camera they can see me even when I am not at home. Due to speakers sound quality I can entertain my self with music and graphics are so nice I also like to watch movies .Sony laptop is my companion who entertains me and also fulfil all my needs. Easy to carry .

As with any complex piece of equipment, a lot of things can go wrong with a computer, and this holds true with the HP Pavilion ZV6000 laptop. While it may be impossible for the average consumer to account for every possible error with their Pavilion, there are a number of more frequent problems that can be troubleshooted for. A few steps that require no advanced computing knowledge can eliminate a host of potential problems and possibly reveal the error that is afflicting your computer, whether the error lies in the power supply, monitor, motherboard or elsewhere.
Check the power source for your HP Pavilion notebook. Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the wall socket or surge protector securely. Ensure that your HP Pavilion battery is still in good shape. All batteries deteriorate over time and begin to lose their charge-some may nearly lose their charge completely. An average cycle for a laptop battery is 1000 charges. If the battery of your Pavilion may be the culprit, flip over the unit and examine the underside of the computer. You should see the horizontal outline of the battery at the top of the bottom side of the computer, and the battery latch just below it. Slide this latch to the left to dislodge the battery and replace it.
Check your HP Pavilion ZV6000 laptop monitor brightness settings if the screen appears black or not powered on. Even if your Pavilion is indeed powered on and the battery is working, it is possible that the brightness settings were accidentally all the way turned down, resulting in a screen that appears to be “dead”. Observe the Pavilion’s behavior and check to see if the mouse and/or keyboard are working correctly. If not, you may have to update your drivers for these devices. Visit the HP Support section to download new drivers (see Resources). Click on the corresponding driver file, wait for the download to complete, and then double click to install. A restart will be required.
Look closely at the HP Pavilion ZV6000 monitor for your HP Pavilion ZV6000 notebook. Is there a faint image that you can see on the screen, but the screen is otherwise not appearing to work properly? The LCD “lid close” detector could be malfunctioning because the LCD lid close switch may be stuck into the “closed” position. This would result in the backlight for the LCD not working. The switch is located near the LCD hinges, and it should be able to be fixed by some slight manipulation and tapping of the switch.
Observe your monitor and look for any video irregularities. If there is a problem with the display outside of the backlight, it could be one of a couple issues. To troubleshoot, use a S-Video cable to connect your laptop to an external monitor, such as your living room TV. If the TV displays the information on your computer correctly, you have isolated the problem to just a monitor issue.
