EAhas announced yet another title in its Need for Speed arsenal, this time Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.

Announcing the new title at its E3 2010press conference, the new game, developed by Criterion, will be launching in November 2010 and focus on cops vs. racer chases.

Pocket-lint was in the audience and grabbed the above video of the opening sequence to the game and actual gameplay with two players playing cops and robbers (car chase style) along a country highway.

Criterion is also upping the ante with the introduction of an all-new online network called Need for Speed Autolog, where players can compare racing stats and automatically get personalised gameplay recommendations from their friends.

Gamers will automatically get notifications from friends in their network; when they beat their score for example.

Developed by Criterion Games, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit will be available on 16 November 2010 in North America, and on 18th and 19 November 2010, in Europe on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit will also be available on the Wii and is being developed by Exient.

Cameroon will be the first opponent and it wont be fun. Cameroon has a great keeper, a stingy defense, a solid midfield, and one of the best strikers in the world up top. Basically, Japan should just be happy to be getting in a few matches against some of the best teams in the world.

Japan Player to Watch: Shunsuke Nakamura

Japan is in trouble. It is more likely that I will win the lottery than for them to even score a goal in their three group stage matches. They are going to need their best player, midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura, to be the midfield general and dictate a perfect game plan if the Japanese are to have any shot at beating Cameroon. Its a problem when your best player is four years older and on the decline compared to the 2006 World Cup. Japan is just happy to be a part of the festivities in South Africa. Nakamura will try to rally the troops, but I dont see any miracle-working in his future.

Cameroon Player to Watch: Samuel Etoo

Many people are claiming that star striker Samuel Etoo is disgruntled and ready to quit his team. Etoo even claimed it himself, but Im not buying it. There is no way that one of the best strikers in the world is going to miss out on the World Cup. If anything, it will light a fire in Etoo and he could have a phenomenal performance. Japan is just the opponent to get any unnecessary anger out against. Etoo is the obvious target man for Cameroon, so expect him to get a ton of opportunities on goal.

Prediction

Honestly, I would be surprised if Carlos Kameni even had to make a save tomorrow. When Cameroon is good, they are really good. Japan is just the opponent they want to start the World Cup off right. Etoo will play with a chip on his shoulder and I really am expecting a hat-trick out of him. Cameroon wins 3-0.

Many fans are looking for places to watch the show online, but unless there are illegal copies floating around, youll have to watch it on HBO. Tonights episode is over and reactions are coming in and it seems overall that people were happy with the season premiere. Mostly it seems that vampire, shape-shifter and werewolf fans were jazzed that the popular show was finally here. Some spoilers below.

Bad Blood starts where it left off last summer: At a fancy French restaurant. Sookie (Anna Paquin)comes back to her table to accept Bills (Stephen Moyer)marriage proposal, but he is no where to be found. Jason is a wreck after gunning down Eggs. Sam is on a quest to find his birth parents and Bill has been kidnapped.

The third season as a whole will loosely follow the plot of the novel Club Dead, which finds Sookie teaming up with a werewolf named Alcide in Mississippi in order to track down Bill, who has been kidnapped and is being held hostage by a powerful pack of vampires.

Ethnic fighting in southern Kyrgyzstan continued for a fourth day Sunday, spreading to villages where Kyrgyz mobs were reportedly killing members of the Uzbek minority and burning their houses

The government declared an around-the-clock curfew in southern Kyrgyzstan Sunday in an attempt to quell the violence, according to Russian state news agency RIA Novosti. It also called up military reservists under the age of 50.

But the move did not appear to be working.

The Associated Press reports that Kyrgyz mobs killed 30 Uzbeks Sunday in the village of Suzak near Jalal-Abad, while at least one other Uzbek village was attacked, with casualties unclear. Uzbeks also ambushed and took hostage about 100 Kyrgyz men on a road near Jalal-Abad, and a mob of hundreds of Uzbek men rioted in a nearby village.

The violence began on Thursday night in Kyrgyzstans second-largest city, Osh, which is situated in the southern part of the country, which has a history of ethnic tension and violence.

Heavily-armed gangs reportedly rampaged through the city, burning Uzbek neighborhoods. The AP report that most of Osh is now destroyed from fires and looters. Eurasianet reports that eyewitnesses saw gunbattles and rioting men seizing vehicles and equipment from security forces. Residents of the devastated city are now experiencing food and water shortages, and hospitals are running out of supplies.

The riots spread to the southern city of Jalal-Abad Saturday, where mobs attacked a university and police station and seized an armored vehicle from local security forces, according to the AP. (The blog Registan has published a map showing the region where the riots are taking place.)

Blogger Tolkun Umaraliev, based in Bishkek, calls the situation a massacre of Uzbeks, and levels his frustration at the government for its incapability to stop the violence.

Thousands of mostly Uzbek refugees have fled to the border with Uzbekistan, attempting to cross. The BBC shows some of the terrified refugees in a video report from the border.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series was scheduled at this weekend . The NASCAR Nationwide Series takes on the 1.5-mile oval of Kentucky Speedway. The track was designed to host a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and has hosted NASCAR Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series races having capacity of 66,000 (Stands).

Joey Logano, the two-time defending Meijer 300 winner practiced and qualified his Sprint Cup car at Michigan International Speedway, then made it to Kentucky in time for the final practice for the Nationwide Series event.

In the NNS Practice 2 Teenager Colin Braun posted the fastest time in either practice session on Friday, finishing a lap of 175.154 mph in testing for tonight’s Meijer 300 at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky. Justin Allgaier finished Second with a lap of 174.921mph.

Jason Leffler leads in the NNS Practice 1 with finishing a lap of 173.166 mph. Colin Braun was at second in the NNS Practice 1 with finishing a lap of 172.883 mph..

Based on the feedback from our patron survey, it is safe to say that the 2009-2010 season ended with a high-noted BANG!! Mr. Abagnale three headed discussion resonated strongly with patrons and left almost all who responded with very positive feelings.

The story of his life, which became the movie hit, Catch Me If You Can was the basis of his lecture and created a strong foundation for the evening. While many patrons knew about this part of his life, Abagnale’s delivery seemed to captivate patrons from the beginning. His message of morality and teaching ethics and in the school and at home were well received although somewhat surprising considering his past. Abagnale’s Q&A seemed to be the highlight of the evening as he took almost twenty minutes to answer the evening’s last question, “How can consumers protect themselves from identity theft?”.

The last program of our 2009-2010 season received the highest overall scores of the entire season which will hopefully leave patrons with good thoughts about the overall season. The Abagnale program scores were as follows:

Not surprisingly, 98% of patrons who responded labeled the evening “money well spent”.

All 22 fighters made weight for UFC 115 but most eyes were on the new physique of Chuck Liddell. The 40-year-old former UFC light heavyweight champ is making a comeback after 14 months off stemming from losing 4-of-5 fights. Dana White demanded that Liddell start taking his training and prep more seriously. By his look at the weigh-in,”TheIceman”did exactly that. Gone was the trademark rounded stomach and slight love handles as the legend weighed in with all the other fighters in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Also in better condition was Gilbert Yvel. The Dutchman made hispromotional debut on short notice against Junior dos Santos at UFC 108. With more time to train for Ben Rothwell, hopefully we see Yvel perform like the elite striker hes proven to be over the years.

Matt Wiman had a little trouble making the lightweight limit. He was forced to strip down to hit 156 pounds. Another fighter to worry about a little isDavid Loiseau. He appeared doughy andlooked smallfor the weight class. Mario Miranda, a big middleweight at 6-foot-3, looked like he belonged in a different weight class.

Pat Barrys gas tank might be worth watching as well. We already sense that hes going to be fired up fighting a guy he admires in Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic. Cro Cop is a smaller heavyweight and this is expected to be a stand-up battle so why did Barry come in at a UFC career-high weight of 248? Barrys previous UFC weights were 233, 237 and 237.
